OSHA Fines Buchman Lumber $145,200 for Amputation & Noise Hazards

Buchman Lumber Co. LLC has been hit by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) with proposed fines totaling $145,200 for a laundry list of alleged safety violations including amputation and noise hazards at its sawmill.

Gillespie Lumber Fined $125,000 for Failing to Fix Safety Issues

Gillespie Lumber Ltd. of Nacogdoches, TX, is in trouble again with the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration which cited the sawmill for 13 violations including seven for failure-to-abate violations stemming from an August 2013 OSHA inspection.
