WMH Recalls Wilton Miter Saws

 

WASHINGTON, DC -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with WMH Tool Group Inc. of Elgin, IL, announced the voluntary recall of about 38,000 Wilton-brand 10-inch Compound Miter Saws, including models with the Laser Line feature with model numbers 99164 and 99192. WMH received four reports of cracked pivot housings, one of which resulted in the separation of the saw blade from the base. No injuries have been reported relating to this hazard.

The product, made in China, sold for between $100 and $140 at home and hardware stores nationwide.
