- Westridge Cabinets Ltd. says it has acquired Classic Woodcraft Ltd., a Saskatchewan-based kitchen cabinet manufacturer.

"The acquisition of Classic will strengthen our position as one of the leading cabinet manufacturers in Western Canada and provide us with a strong foothold in the growing Saskatchewan market," said Ron Goss, CEO of 300-employee Westridge Cabinets.

Founded in 1995, Classic Woodcraft provides cabinetry products to the new home construction and renovation market. Headed by Andy Theoret, Classic Woodcraft services the Saskatchewan market through its cabinetry showroom located in central Saskatoon.

Established in 1983, Westridge Cabinets is Alberta's largest fully-integrated cabinet manufacturer. Headquartered in Red Deer, Alberta, Westridge provides end-to-end services to its customers, from professional cabinetry design through to manufacturing and eventual cabinet installation. The company has showrooms and localized design, service and installation centers in Red Deer, Edmonton, Calgary and most recently, Lethbridge, Alberta. In March, Westridge Cabinets was acquired by Signal Hill Equity Partners.
