HERFORD, GERMANY -- Heinrich Wemhöner will turn 60 on Aug. 13.
He is the third generation leader of the specialty press company Wemhöner Surface Technologies founded by his grandfather in 1925.
Since joining the family business in 1979, Wemhöner has helped drive the company's business. During his tenure, Wemhöner helped expand the business to the Far East. This culminated in 2007 in the formal inauguration of the production plant in Changzhou, China.
Other milestones included the establishment of sales and service businesses in Charlotte, NC, and approximately 30 other countries.
