Wellborn introduces high-tech cabinets at K/BIS
K/BIS gets off to a rousing start

Wellborn Cabinet Inc. debuted its Media Life cabinetry at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, which is taking place in Chicago from April 16-18. Media Life is a new concept in cabinetry that integrates the storage of a TV, photos, music, DVDs, e-mail, podcasts, etc. in one location. Sold as a complete package, including an Apple computer, docking station, cables, Bose speakers, software and a wireless keyboard, Media Life cabinetry can be installed in a kitchen or as an entertainment center in a living room.

"It's a really different concept," says Angela Wellborn O'Neill, director of marketing and advertising. Using the media stored in the single cabinet unit, you can surf the internet, download recipes, view photos or vacation videos, and check e-mail -- from a single spot in your kitchen or living room. Media Life will be available in all the colors and cabinet styles offered by Wellborn.

“Media Life is thinking way outside of the box,” says Kevin O’Neill, Wellborn’s general manager. “We are able to offer our dealers and their customers something that’s unique in the industry, and we’re very proud of that. Wellborn Cabinet truly offers more than cabinets.”
