GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- Stiles Machinery Inc. has scheduled the first U.S.  demonstrations of the Homag laserTec edgebander for October 19 and 20.

The Homag laserTec applies edgebanding via a laser that activates a glue layer contained on the edgebanding material. According to Stiles, the result is a finished edge with superior bond strength and aesthetics, as well as increased heat and moisture resistance.

The Homag laserTec edgebander that will be demonstrated also has a glue pot for applying traditional edgebanding materials.

Stiles will host the live demonsrations along with the new Ligmatech return conveyor from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 19 and 20. Lunch will be served.
