HILLMAN, MI -- No injuries were reported in a fire that destroyed the sawmill of Rust Wood Products, a manufacturer of wood pallets. 

The fire broke out at Rust Wood Products on Thursday, March 31, and burned one of the business' three buildings to the ground, according to the Alpena News.

Rust Wood Products has been operating for more than 30 years. The Alpena News reported that the family-owned business, which once employed more than 30 people, has been down to five workers.
