Safety Speed Cut wins WMIA Partner Award

MONTEREY, CA -- Safety Speed Cut of Minneapolis, MN, received the 2010 Woodworking Machinery Industry Association Partner of the Year Award during the Woodworking Industry Conference in Monterey, CA.

Scott Mueller, a member of WMIA’s Marketing Committee and vice president of Edward B. Mueller Co. Inc., a WMIA distributor member company. presented the award to Brian Donahue, Safety Speed Cut’s president.

Safety Speed Cut was founded in 1958 by the Olson family in its Minneapolis home garage.Saety Speed Cut has developed more than 15 different American-made production model panel saws and routers for use in wood, plastic, and industrial applications. In the last decade, by way of acquisition, the company began manufacturing and supplying American-made widebelt sanders and fully automated air and glue pot edgebanders.
