ROSEBURG, OR — Roseburg Forest Products announced the purchase of the Decolam Inc. wood-laminating facility in Orangeburg, SC. The acquisition comes about a year after Roseburg bought seven manufacturing plants from Georgia-Pacific in South Carolina, Mississippi and Georgia.
“This purchase will give us laminating capacity on the East Coast, complimenting our current operations across the U.S.,” said Roseburg President Allyn Ford.
The plant employs about 80 people, nearly all of whom will be retained after the sale.
