Michael Lind

GRAND RAPIDS, MI —

Leitz Tooling Systems has appointed Michael Lind to the position of CEO, overseeing United States operations. Lind brings 25 years of experience in the woodworking industry, most recently as general manager of Carolina Specialty Tools.

Bill Cariano, formerly president of Leitz Tooling, left the company in January.

Leitz also announced the appointments of Eric Johnson and Josh Kellems to the position of sales/service representatives. Johnson will cover the states of Kentucky and Tennessee; Kellems will oversee southern Indiana and southern Ohio.

Leitz Tooling Systems North America is headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI, with a manufacturing facility in Jasper, IN, as well as 10 service centers across the United States and Canada. Leitz Tooling Systems is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leitz GmbH & Co. KG, which has been headquartered in Oberkochen, Germany for 136 years, and employs 3,500 worldwide.
