IMA and Schelling strengthen North American alliance
MORRISVILLE, NC --

IMA Klessmann GmbH of Luebbecke, Germany, and Schelling Anlagenbau of Schwarzach, Austria, announced a further strengthening of their North American Strategic Alliance.

IMA, a manufacturer panel processing equipment, and Schelling, a manufacturer of cut-to-size systems, have been cooperating globally on the sales and marketing side for decades. This collaboration will now be extended in the North American market and will include after sales service as well.

In addition, the companies announced that Peter Tuenker is now responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of both Schelling America and IMA America. Both companies will continue to promote their concerted market approach. A good example is the combined booth of both companies at the International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta, GA, Aug. 25 to August 28.

Tuenker said, “The product portfolios of the two companies complement each other perfectly. This next step in our strategic alliance enables us to shorten the response time to our customers even more and allows us to assign one contact to our customers for all their questions concerning their production needs."
