Brian Beakler

RESTON, VA  -- Hardwood Plywood and Veneer Association members elected Brian Beakler to serve as its 2011-12 chairman.

Beakler is a research scientists and team leader for Armstrong World Industries.

The HPVA also elected TIm Heidt of the Penrod Co. to serve at vice chairman.

The elections took place during the HPVA's 90th anniversary convention in Orlando, FL, last month.
