NUERTINGEN, GERMANY — Holz-Her Reich Spezialmaschinen GmbH, the parent company of Holz-Her U.S., is now continuing all business activities after management filed for reorganization on Jan. 14, 2010.
“All business activities are continuing as normal. All machines ordered, as well as new orders, are being delivered to customers as agreed. The future supply of service and spare parts for the machines is also completely assured,” said Dr. Reinhard Schmid, the appointed administrator.
The company reports orders for the next three months are very good. Orders were up again in the last quarter of 2009, meaning that the low period of last year is over.
Holz-Her specializes in four product ranges: edgebanding machines, pressure beam saws, CNC machining centers and vertical panel saws. The company will be exhibiting at IWF Atlanta.
