Herman Miller opens store in Tokyo

ZEELAND, MI -- Office furniture manufacturer Herman Miller Inc. has opened what it calls its first company store in Tokyo Japan.

The new retail store features home office seating and desks, including products designed by Herman Miller legends Charles Eames and George Nelson, plus lighting, stationary supplies and other products. It is operated by Herman Miller Japan, a subsidiary of Herman Miller.
 
 The store also includes a “Try a Chair” area consumers can find the work chair that best matches his or her physique and a library of Herman Miller-related books.
