Henderson takes the helm for WMIA

MARCO ISLAND, FL --

The Wood Machinery Industry Association elected John Henderson to serve as its president for the next two years during an induction ceremony held during the Woodworking Industry Conference.

Henderson of John Henderson & Company of Las Vegas, NV, succeeds David Rothwell, executive vice president of Stiles Machinery Inc., Grand Rapids, MI. Rothwell will remain on board aof directors as the WMIA's immediate past president.

Other elected officers include John Park of SCM Group of Duluth, GA, vice president, and Scott Mueller of Edward B. Mueller, Cincinnati, secretary/treasurer.

Robert Heskett of West Coast Machinery, Madison Bert of Weima America and Roberto Ghizzoni of Omga, were each elected to two-year terms on the WMIA board.

The Woodworking Machinery Industry Association is a trade association representing importers and distributors of woodworking machinery and ancillary equipment in North America. THe WMIA, along with the American Home Furnishings Alliance and Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America, organizes the biennial International Woodworking Fair coming up August 22-25 in Atlanta.
