WASHINGTON -- The Board of Directors of the U.S. Forest Stewardship Council (FSC-US), a non-profit organization devoted to encouraging the responsible management of the world’s forests, announced the resignation of Roger C. Dower, who has been president of the organization since Nov. 2002. Following his resignation, Mr. Dower was appointed to the Board of Directors of FSC-US.
