China’s Window and Door Demand to Reach More Than $26B in 2011
CLEVELAND, OH — Demand for windows and doors in China is projected to increase 11.0% per annum through 2011 to more than $26 billion, outpacing growth in most other parts of the world, according to the new study Windows & Doors in China, from industry research firm The Freedonia Group. The study says that advances will be driven by gains in building construction, increasing demand for larger living spaces, further privatization of home ownership, sustained strength in foreign investment and an expanding domestic consumer market.
