COMMERCE, CA — AWFS announced the deadline for the 2009 Fresh Wood Student Woodworking Competition to be held at the July AWFS Fair trade show in Las Vegas on May 1. School registration and instructor release forms must be returned before a student may submit entries. A student entry form, project questionnaire and student release form must be submitted with each student entry. These forms are available at the AWFS Fair Web site, www.awfsfair.org.

AWFS will also again be offering “Teacher Track” seminars specifically for educators. Information will be provided on the Web site.
