ATC Panels Expands Thermally Fused Melamine Offerings

MONCURE, NC -- ATC Panels, a supplier of composite panels, has expanded its thermally fused melamine (TFM) panel offering with a broader range of dimensions, including 10-foot and 12-foot panel sizes.  Additionally, the company has centralized all of its melamine operations under one roof at its Moncure, NC, facility.

“We continue to break new ground in the production of TFM,” said Scott Thompson, vice president of sales and marketing for ATC Panels.  “We now have the capabilities to produce a comprehensive range of sizes to accommodate the North American market.”

The new board lengths, made possible through a modification of the hydraulic system on the facility’s Siempelkamp melamine press, enable ATC Panels to serve new markets, in particular, commercial case goods and store fixtures manufacturers that often require 10-foot and 12-foot lengths for wall paneling applications.  Additionally, the company says these sizes help manufacturers of all types optimize their yields when cutting component pieces.
