Woodworker 'Puzzled' by Break-insDELHI TOWNSHIP, OH -- Jeff Vollmer, who has made a living making and writing about how to make wooden puzzle boxes, is thinking about finding a new location for his business after being victimized by thieves for the seventh time in 13 months.

The most recent theft was of an air conditioning unit that Vollmer had locked in a metal cage because two others were stolen before it. In addition to the air conditioners, thieves have stolen woodworking tools; Vollmer told WKRC TV of Cincinnati that the thefts have resulted in a total loss of approximately $40,000 in income.

Vollmer is an award-winning woodworker and author of "Puzzle Boxes: 12 Fun and Intriguing Band Saw Projects" published by Popular Woodworking.
