Woodcraft Supply Acquires Japan Woodworker

PARKERSBURG, WV - Woodcraft Supply, LLC, acquired Japan Woodworker, an Almeda, CA.  woodworking equipment and supplies retailer. Woodcraft will maintain the brand Japan Woodworker as a separate company within the Woodcraft organization, with Woodcraft employees continuing to provide catalog and Internet customer service.Woodcraft Supply Acquires Japan Woodworker

“Both of our companies have built strong brands, and we both pride ourselves in providing professional quality woodworking tools and exceptional customer service,” said Woodcraft president Jody Garrett. 

The one Japan Woodworker retail store in Almeda has closed, but Japan Woodworker products will be sold at Woodcraft’s 75 retail stores – five located in California at Stanton, Sacramento, Dublin, San Carlos, and Ventura.

Woodcraft Supply operates company-owned franchises and retail locations. In 2012 it acquired WoodCraftPlans.com
