Cabinetry, Millwork, Panel Plant Investments GrowA cabinet manufacturing plant is revived as private equity pops up. Two architectural millwork and custom woodwork operations announce dramatic plant expansions.

And earnings reports surge: Home Depot said contractor purchases and large buys ($900+) drove its results up 31 percent. La-Z-Boy saw earnings surge - 49 percent ahead of last year.

The latest housing report say existing home inventories are now in a healthy balance with demand - a six months supply. Gradually the building and remodeling segments are reaching equilibrium and trending upward.
