Vermont Artisan Designs Gallery featured carved wooden reliefs by Dominic Koval at Brattleboro’s monthly Gallery Walk on July 6. The gallery also featured hand-carved wood furniture.

Koval’s wall-hanging sculptural carvings have been described as intricate and breathe taking. The six carvings that were on display in July at Vermont Artisan Designs included two winged dragons against a background of lace-like carving; four sisters – three women and a leopard; and a woman with butterflies.

Vermont Artisan Designs is open seven days a week at 106 Main St. in Brattleboro.
