PITTSBURGH – Weaber Lumber Company’s new line of Finish Coat interior trim products are protected by Aqualink coatings developed by PPG Industries.

Weaber’s Aqualink-protected trim products are designed to deliver a consistent finish on moldings. The trim products are made from American poplar, a hardwood.

Matt Weaber, president and CEO of Weaber Lumber, said the hard-cure from Aqualink coatings on the Finish Coat product offers builders and industry professionals a “factory-quality hardwood trim designed to keep its perfectly coated showroom finish for years to come.” 

PPG officials said the Aqualink single- and dual-component water-based coatings provide an “environmentally-friendly low-VOC (volatile organic compound) and NMP-free formulation.”
