RIO GRANDE - The Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA), in conjunction with the Woodworking Machinery Industry Association (WMIA), will hold its annual Woodworking Industry Conference (WIC)  April 28 to May 2, 2014 at the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

WIC, whose slogan is "One Industry…One Conference…Endless Opportunities," includes informative topics of interest to those in the woodworking industry. Speakers cover legislative issues impacting woodworking businesses, import and export issues, manufacturing and economic trends and more.

The meeting includes multiple ways to connect with those in the industry, including Contact Tables (which allow for one-on-one meetings) and meetings of board and committees. In addition, associations recognize outstanding members of the industry including volunteers and others, with awards and other presentations.
