Steelcase Recognized as a Top Furnishings Company

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Steelcase Inc. has been recognized as one of FORTUNE magazine's 2012 "Most Admired Companies" in the Home Equipment, Furnishings industry sector. The office furnishings giant is ranked sixth overall for the business segment.

According to Steelcase, its highest scores came in the innovation, people management, quality of products and services, and long-term investment categories. Past recognition in these categories has included: Information Week 500 for technology innovation; American Society for Training and Development's BEST Awards for employee development; Inforum Board Access Award for women in leadership; and iF Design Awards and Edison Awards for product design and innovation.
