Steelcase Foundation Has New President
Americas' Sales Boost Steelcase in Q3

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The Steelcase Foundation, a non-profit philanthropic arm of office furniture maker Steelcase Inc., announced that Julie Ridenour has assumed the post of president.

Her most recent position was trust and business development officer of Founders Bank & Trust. Ridenour is a past member and treasurer of the East Grand Rapids Board of Education and currently is a member of the St Mary's Health Care Board of Trustees, Mary Free Bed Hospital Board of Directors, and Habitat for Humanity, for which she serves as secretary.

"Its future depends on a broadening network and someone with a passionate connection to the needs of our communities. Julie's appointment allows us to further the significant contribution of the Foundation, as she has had such a strong network to numerous civic groups and linkage to a number of socially significant programs."

The Steelcase Foundation was etablished in 1951 and focuses on the areas of human service, health, education, community development, the arts and the environment.
