CLEVELAND, OH - Sherwin-Williams Product Finishes launched a line of prefinish coatings as it ventures into the North American OEM flooring market. UV-curable wood flooring coating systems the first offerings in the line. 

Included are systems for residential and commercial applications, including ceramic topcoats, high-Taber sealers, armor coat, UV oil, hydro primers, dual-cure putty, and fillers and sealers.

“This new family of coatings builds upon success and insights we have gained from supporting the flooring industry in Europe,” said Laura Kelleher, VP global marketing.

Sherwin-Williams offers custom color matching in specialized facilities, and manufacturers will have access to proprietary color trends research and forecasting, Sherwin-Williams says, so they can offer customers flooring that is on the leading edge of consumer trends.
