CONCORD, NC  -SCM Group North America moved the DMC division of wide belt sanders into Superfici America, Concord, NC, a sister division specializing in complete automated finishing systems.

Scott Grissom was named DMC product manager, and relocates to Concord as part of the change. SCM says all parts and service for the DMC product line will continue to be provided by the parts and service team in Duluth, GA, where SCM Group NA woodworking machinery operations is headquartered. In 2009 SCM Group restructured and created three new divisions to help classify its machines into different areas of woodworking applications and production.

"By joining the sanding product line with Superfici America, it enables our sanding specialists to be able to work side by side with the Superfici finishing experts together in one location," said SCM Group in a statement announcing the move.
