Royal Plywood Acquires Kelly-Wright Hardwoods

Royal Plywood CERRITOS, CA - Royal Plywood Co. has acquired the assets of Kelly-Wright Hardwoods Inc., a plywood, lumber and mouldings firm based in Brea, CA. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Royal Plywood said in a statement it will join "the resources of the two companies under one roof in Cerritos, CA," and continue its practice of operating 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday.

Founded in 1991, Royal Plywood says it is among the largest distributors of specialty panel products in the United States. Its distribution center is approximately 120,000 square feet and stocks a variety of building product supplies, including particleboard, MDF, laminates and veneers.

Both Royal Plywood and Kelly-Wright Hardwoods offer products that are FSC-certified. Founded in 1982, Kelly-Wright supplies various species of hardwood lumber, plywood, custom and stock moulding.
