ANAHEIM, CA. − The Association of Woodworking & Furnishing Suppliers  (AWFS) will once again team up with shredding company WEIMA for its "Destroy Responsibly" recycling program at AWFS Fair, Wednesday July 24-Saturday July 27.

The program will operate throughout the event, shredding any demonstration scrap as well as shipping or packing materials left by exhibitors and vendors.

"Since launching this program along with our partners in 2009 at the AWFS Fair we have made a significant impact in the reduction of wood waste and a positive contribution to deserving Las Vegas efforts that promote community advancement and sustainability" said Angelo Gangone, Executive Vice President, AWFS.

Wood chips will be donated to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for landscaping at their Community Garden through non-profit organization Repurpose America.
