WASHINGTON - RSI Home Products of Anaheim, CA, has issued a voluntary recall of approximately 14,000 Glacier Bay-branded bathroom medicine cabinets sold exclusively at The Home Depot.

According to the U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), RSI received two reports from consumers of the cabinet’s mirror or back panel detaching and falling out. Neither incident resulted in an injury, CPSC said.

The medicine cabinets were manufactured by RSI between July 15 and Oct. 10, 2013. They feature a mirrored door, two adjustable shelves and two fixed shelves.

Consumers are urged to return the units to The Home Depot for a full refund of approximately $70 to $90.

The medicine cabinets were made in the United States. RSI says it has more than 3 million square feet of manufacturing space, with facilities in Anaheim, CA; Columbus, KS; Lincolnton, NC; Mexico and China. RSI announced last March that it would add 225,000 square feet to its Lincolnton plant.
