Hand Parqueted Oak Walnut Floor Mosaic Wins HonorsORLANDO - Wood flooring firm Archetypal Design, owned by Avedis Duvenjian, won the Member’s Choice award at the NWFA National Wood Flooring Expo in Orlando recently.

Netting the award for Archetypal was a solid parquet mosaic wood floor, made with a mix of white oak and American walnut with a marble border. It also won NWFA's Best Residential category, with the awaards given by TV remodeling personality Carter Oosterhouse.

Last week, Archetypal Design joined a program with Donald Trump for flooring for high end homes.

Hand Parqueted Oak Walnut Floor Mosaic Wins HonorsArchetypal Design, based in New York City, with affiliates in Russia and Dubai, won its first NWFA Wood Floor of the Year award in 2010.

Archetypal Design is a member of the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) a group that promotes the wood flooring industry. Formed in 1986, NWFA has 3,500 members worldwide.
