Sauder Furniture Updates Site for Mobile Retail Locator ARCHBOLD, OH - Sauder Woodworking Co. has relaunched its website with a mobile-friendly format.

Consumer buying behavior has evolved, Sauder notes, with research showing customers seeking a seamless experience. The mobile-optimized Sauder website is designed to enhance consumers’ online experience at home or on-the-go.

The company, with long history of crafting ready-to-assemble furniture in the U.S., hopes the new development will streamline the user experience for customers shopping via laptop, tablet, and mobile phone.

The new site features enhanced search capabilities, enabling customers to navigate by product, room, or collection. Another feature allows customers to locate nearby retailers that carry Sauder furniture products. Sauder plans a blog and additional style inspiration content in coming months.

Sauder Woodworking offers an inventory of more than 30 furniture collections, 90% of which is manufactured in the same town where Erie Sauder began the business in 1943. In the barn behind his Archbold, OH home, Erie started by building custom cabinetry and church pews. He used leftover wood to build small occasional tables. Today, the company still strives to follow his example, reusing and recycling more than 98% of its solid waste materials.
