Nucraft Appoints Fourth Generation of Family Leadership
Nucraft Announces CEO Transition

COMSTOCK, MI - Matt Schad has succeeded his father, Tim Schad, as chief executive officer of Nucraft Furniture Company. This marks the privately owned company’s fourth generation of family leadership in its 70 years of business.

Nucraft Appoints Fourth Generation of Family LeadershipMatt began his career at Nucraft 10 years ago, and most recently acted as director of marketing and business development. Prior to Nucraft, Matt served as an anti-trust attorney. Matt graduated from Amherst College with a degree in economics, later earning his law degree from Wake Forest University and MBA degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Nucraft President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Bockheim continues in his executive management position through the transition. Tim will retain his role as Nucraft’s chairman of the board.

“I am so pleased that I will be able to continue to learn from Bob Bockheim and my father as we make this transition in family leadership over the next several years,” Matt said. “I have been a part of Bob’s executive team for the last five years and I know first-hand that they are top notch.”

Nucraft employs 270 people and manufactures hand-crafted office furniture for private offices, conferences room and collaborative workspaces.
