HIGH POINT, NC -- Residential furniture new orders for November 2014 climbed 3% over November 2013, according to a survey from Smith Leonard PLLC.

The accounting firm said that year-to-date, new orders were tracking 6% over 2013. Approximately 75% of its survey participants reported increased new orders for November 2014 and 71% reported increased new orders for the year.

Along with new orders, shipments and backlogs were slightly up in November 2014 as well.
