MILLERSBURG, OH - When This Old House renovated the second oldest house in the PBS show's 35-year history, kitchen furniture-style cabinetry from Mullet Cabinets were part of the project.

Mullet Cabinets Supplies This Old House RenovationMullet Cabinets' Levant Kitchen Furniture were featured in episode 13 in what the PBS program called The "Bedford Project." The work done on a nearly 300-year old house near Boston once occupied by a Reolutionary War patriot, included careful restoration and practical additions, including a new kitchen and butler's pantry featuring Mullet Cabinets products.

The  episode featuring Mullet Cabinet's Levant Kitchen Furniture aired December 31, 2011.

Kitchen designer Kathy Marshall worked with host Kevin O'Connor on a resourceful solution for fitting a modern kitchen in an old home: custom-designed Levant Kitchen Furniture with specialized color finishes designed to match the decor, complementing the style and era of the historic farmhouse. To meet very tight construction and filming schedules, Mullet Cabinets produced the Heron Blue Levant kitchen cabinetry in just 4 weeks.

"Levant made sense because I wanted to integrate the look of fine furniture-quality cabinetry that would offer the flexibility to work within the open floor plan that included posts and beams," Marshall says. "What really made the company stand apart from the competition is that they were able to deliver a custom product under what would typically be regarded an unrealistic timeframe; when the deadline for the entire project was cut back from 9 months to 6 months."

All woodwork in the cabinetry is completely finished – including all cabinet interiors. Mullet Cabinet also has an in-house color studio to speed turnaround time.
