Designer Sherrie Linn, of Schrock dealership Linn's Prestige Kitchens & Baths, Inc., produced a project for a retired couple in Mary Esther, FL. The $45,000 project took 10 weeks to complete, included a wine cooler, and deep drawers with SmartStop sliding shelves. A soffit was removed and air conditioning rerouted, allowing placement of ceiling high Schrock cabinets in light stain cherry wood.

JASPER, IN - MasterBrand Cabinets has relaunched its website, aiming its marketing message at consumers, 60 percent of whom start cabinet searches online, according to MasterBrand's own research.

"As the home market shows new signs of life, consumers have a pent-up desire to create their ideal space," MasterBrand said in announing MasterBrand.com, which went live today.

The site includes a dealer locater, and a comparison page for the major MasterBrand product lines: Aristokraft, Decorá, Diamond, Dynasty, Homecrest, Kemper, Kitchen Craft, Omega and Schrock.

“Whether they’re moving into a new home or improving the current one, we make cabinet selection less stressful through easy-to-use inspirational and educational tools,” said Joel Culp, MasterBrand exec VP of marketing and strategic planning.

MasterBrand Cabinets Inc., a unit of Fortune Brands Home & Security, says  housing trends are "gradually and consistently moving in the right direction," with multifamily construction particularly healthy, while consumer remodeling and homebuilding preferences are driven by "optimism and necessity."

Among catalysts for consumer bying decisions are multiple generations of families living together; more people using home offices; and a growing desire for green renovations and multi-use spaces, according to MasterBrand Cabinets.
