MARSHALL, TX - Master WoodCraft Cabinetry has received $90,000 in funding from the Marshall Economic Development Corp. for hiring additional employees.

According to the Marshall News Messenger, MEDCO presented the check to the cabinet company following the hiring of 45 additional employees, part of a three-year job creation plan between the two organizations. The company currently has approximately 400 employees at its two plants, located in Marshall and Jefferson, Texas.

Founded in 2008, the company supplies kitchen cabinets, counters and kitchen cabinet components for the multifamily housing market. For his efforts, company founder Gene Ponder was recognized as a Wood Industry Market Leader in 2013.
