NEWBERG, OR - MarketCraft, a wood products firm specializing in retail signage and display has grown rapidly, reaching $1.2M in revenue with plans for a new 25,000 square foot plant.
Launched 18 months ago, MarketCraft has been running a lean operation, handling mid-volume store fixture runs for dozens of retails.
President John Johnson told the Portland Business Journal his firm wikll double to 10 employees, and that he is looking for larger quarters.
Last year MarketCraft was featured in a Woodworking Network report on its Anderson Cojet inkjet imprinting system, used for simulating woodgrain and other patterns on MDF and other board. MarketCraft also operates a metal crafting shop for creating custom hardware and metal components; vinyl sign cutting and laser etching devices; a large-volume paint room drawn from an automotive industry design; and a complete woodworking shop.
