Furniture components manufacturer Leggett & Platt developed a web series featuring its 300ez mechanism, which provides a full recline and was tested at 300 pounds for 25,000 cycles by real people.

Leggett & Platt teamed with the comedy writers from Second City Communications and Mediacross, a full-service marketing and communications agency, to develop "Cycle Man" scripts. The web series is hosted at LPCycleMan.com.

“It was important to show that 300ez is unique," said John Cates, Producer for Second City Communications. "That’s why we took a character-driven approach, focusing on a guy who is also very different. Through Cycle Man’s eccentricities, we were able to highlight the product’s many benefits.”

Leggett & Platt Home Furniture Components products are sold to more than 1,500 furniture makers worldwide, and its product line is divided into two divisions: furniture hardware and seating and distribution.
