HIGH POINT — Casegoods supplier Legacy Classic Furniture has named Michael Harris president of the company. The news was reported in Furniture Today.

Harris previously served as vice president of sales for Legacy Classic Furniture, a position he held since September 2006. He was also past president of Kevin Charles Furniture and the past president/owner of Florida Furniture Brokers.

Based in High Point, NC, Legacy Classic Furniture offers bedroom, dining room, casual dining and youth furniture. The company is a division of Samson Marketing, which is part of the Samson Holding group based in China. In addition to Legacy, companies within the group include: Universal Furniture, Craftmaster Furniture, Pennsylvania House and Willis & Gambler, plus licensing programs with Better Homes & Gardens, Paula Deen and Encore Home Designs.
