Leedo Cabinetry Promotes David Mullis to Chief Operating Officer

HOUSTON, TX - Leedo’s Chairman and Board announced David Mullis has been promoted to Leedo’s Executive VP and COO.

The board also announced that Mullis will become a Leedo shareholder, recognition of outstanding performance in his first year at Leedo, where he drove rapid improvements in manufacturing safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Mullis joined the Leedo team as the VP of Manufacturing in late 2013 with extensive woodworking experience. Beginning his career as a supervisor in the furniture industry, he rose through the ranks to become Worldwide VP of Hardwood Manufacturing for Armstrong, responsible for

managing 9 manufacturing facilities all over the world. Prior to this position, David served five years as VP of Armstrong’s Cabinet Division.

 

Prior to Armstrong, he managed Kohler/Baker Furniture’s Case-Goods plants in North Carolina, and had significant experience leading multiple plants with Sherrill Furniture, Century Furniture, and Drexel-Heritage. His formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Furniture Manufacturing and Management from North Carolina State University.

In his new position, David Mullis will assume responsibility for Leedo’s Sales, Project Management, and Installation functions, in addition to Manufacturing and Supply Chain. The Chairman and board members are confident that Mullis’s ability to apply his formidable experience to these broader responsibilities will result in a rapid and sustained breakthrough in customer satisfaction.
