JASPER, IN - Kimball Office announces the official launch of Kimball Health, the contract furniture manufacturer's new line of healthcare seating and casegoods.

"Kimball Health is focused on the details essential in the healthcare environment so that designers and end users can obtain better outcomes for patients, their families and the staff that heals them," said Mike Wagner, president of Kimball Office.

The healthcare products debuted during November's Healthcare Design Conference in San Diego. The line includes: patient and lounge seating, sleepers, recliners, casegoods and bariatrics.

According to the company, flexibility is key to each of the product's design and the collections are made to coordinate with each other.

Kimball Office is a brand unit of Kimball International, Inc., (NASDAQ:KBAL).

In related news, Kimball International Inc. posted second quarter fiscal year 2015 net sales of $151.4 million. The company reported net sales in the second quarter increased 9% compared to the prior year's period, with increases in the hospitality, government, and other commercial vertical markets. Overall, orders during the second quarter increased 21% over the prior year period.
