KCMA Agrees to Support Kitchen & Bath Industry Show
KBIS Reschedules 2012 Dates

ALPHARETTA, GA – The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) has entered into a cooperative marketing alliance with the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) to support the annual Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS).

KCMA Agrees to Support Kitchen & Bath Industry ShowAccording to the press release announcing the pact, "This strategic alliance reinforces KBIS' dedication to the cabinet industry while solidifying KCMA's commitment to KBIS in 2012 and beyond." Under the agreement KCMA, which has more than 330 members, will help encourage its members to exhibit at KBIS. To help make kitchen and bath cabinets more visibile, KBIS will include a cabinetry pavilion this year.

KBIS is scheduled to take place April 24-26 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Up to now only a handful of major KCMA member companies have signed on as exhibitors, including Kitchen Kompact and Woodmode. Most noticeably absent from the most current online list of exhibitors are the nation's two largest cabinet manufacturers: Masco Cabinetry, which includes Merillat, Kraftmaid and Quality Cabinets; and MasterBrands, which includes Aristokraft, Schrock and Omega.

“This strategic alliance provides both KBIS and the KCMA with additional opportunities for industry growth," said Jim Scott, managing director of the show. "KBIS is excited to provide KCMA with a strong, strategic platform of visibility, connecting them face-to-face with their target audiences including potential buyers to grow sales. We also look forward to offering KBIS attendees the opportunity to continue to learn from the KCMA as they educate the public about key trends and issues in the cabinet manufacturing industry.”
