NEW ORLEANS -Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) has announced that its 2013 convention in New Orleans drew just 20,000 registrants, down significantly from last year's 32,078 registrants. Also, the event didn't match last year's 550 exhibitors; just 400 exhibitors were at the show.

The numbers could be attributed to a less populated location than its 2012 Chicago setting. Or attendance may have been dampened by the news - announced in January 2013 - that next year's KBIS will co-locate with the International Builders' Show in Las Vegas next year, in February.
