Weinig USA Moves Manager Back from Sales

MOORESVILLE, NC - The IWF 2012 woodworking show has grown bigger still as Weinig and Holz-Her announced plans to exhibit at the industry's largest wood manufacturing show.

IWF 2012: Weinig and Holz-Her Plan To ExhibitWeinig Holz-Her says its booth will display a full line of equipment for both solid-wood and panel processing, with introductions of contemporary manufacturing solutions critical to current wood production business demands.

Weinig and Holz-Her merged in 2010, and made their inaugural exhibition together at the AWFS 2011 woodworking show. The show runs August 22-25, 2012 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

"Our two companies have formed a powerful integrated operation to serve the industry," said Jason Howell, president of Weinig and Holz-Her, in a statement announcing the show plans. "The IWF exhibition offers a tremendous opportunity to demonstrate the unique advancements in technology and innovation that will make our customers more competitive”

The Weinig Holz-Her news comes as other exhibitors begin to announce show plans for IWF 2012, including some who sat out IWF 2010.

Weinig Holz-Her says “Experience the Next Level” will be its IWF 2012 wood industry show theme. It plans on highlighting ways wood products manufacturers can respond to business demands such as the flexibility to handle short runs and customer orders, while drastically improving lead times.

Among these will be a new Weinig Lineal Moulding Cell, an integrated manufacturing management system shown in the animation video below. Weinig says it will also preview it in an upcoming Technology Showcase series of personal demo in Mooresville, NC this spring.

“It takes innovation and technology only achievable by uniting the customer directly with the expertise of the manufacturer,” Howell said. “The IWF platform is the premiere venue to do so.”

Woodworking Network has established an IWF 2012 news channel for continous coverage of the show. Woodworking Network is the Official Videographer of IWF 2012 and the publisher of the Official Digital Guide to the IWF 2012 Challenger Awards.
