IKEA unveiled its new RTA Smart TV, UPPLEVA, which contains an LED HD TV, Blu-ray, DVD, CD combo player and 2.1 wireless sound system, and it is all contained in one cabinet, which also features storage space.

TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings Limited, one of the largest global TV manufacturers in China, supplies the electronics for IKEA's complete TV solutions, including the furniture, operated by one remote.

Available in a variety of cabinetry designs, UPPLEVA is expected to be released to the European market in June.

IKEA also announced its 7th IKEA PS furniture collection, which it says puts a focus on Scandinavian furniture design while maintaining core IKEA values – quality design at an affordable price.
