KENMORE, NY - Hulley Woodworking will move to new quarters, relocating from Buffalo after acquiring a 6,400-square-foot former hardware store in Kenmore, NY, for $175,000, reports Buffalo Business First.

Founded in 1994, Hulley Woodworking handles custom cabinetry and  commercial projects such as reception desks, office furnishings, conference rooms, church and religious furnishings, as well as residential projects. The new location provides an additinal 2,000 square feet of space.

One of Hulley Woodworking's most colorful projects was a hand-carved, 19th century-style, solid mahogany bed prototype designed and commissioned by Ralph Lauren Home Furnishings and Henredon Furniture Company.

Hulley Woodworking fabricated the bed, including hand carving wth gold leat finishing, for a 1996 High Point, NC Furniture Market. Just two were produced; a queen-sized prototype was eventually destroyed when it was cut into pieces to be used as a mass carving model for a production run of the bed. Another prototype was sold to a private individual and is the only copy left in existence.
