How High End Millwork Project Came to O.B. WilliamsSEATTLE, WA - Custom architectural millwork and cabinetry firm O.B. Williams Company says its age and reputation played a role to win a subcontract to manufacture custom mahogany windows and doors and exterior millwork for a classically designed Los Angeles residence by the famed Robert A.M. Stern Architects.

O.B. Williams says the project contractor actually expanded the contract during the project to include production of the majority of the interior cabinetry, paneling, and standing and running trim, including installation, to the scope of work.

According to O.B. Williams, the contractor cited the company’s century of experience manufacturing high-quality wood doors and windows, its well-equipped factory with large capacity for manufacturing solid hardwood architectural woodwork elements, and the quality of its shop drawings defining all aspects of the design intent providing the builder with a clear understanding of construction methods, installation sequence and interface with other trades.
